71-Day Cruise Around South America

Postby HostDave » Sun Oct 18, 2015 1:34 pm

Regent Seven Seas Cruises recently announced its 2016-17 Winter Collection, and one trip gaining traction with travelers is a 71-night voyage around South America.

After passengers board the 700-passenger Seven Seas Mariner, the cruise will depart from Miami on Jan. 17, 2017, and make its way around South America for a complete circumnavigation of the continent.

The 71-night trip will include several interesting stops and ports of call, including traveling through the Panama Canal to the Pacific Ocean, visiting Machu Picchu in Peru and making multiple stops in Chile before turning around at the base of the continent.

During the journey north in the Atlantic Ocean, passengers will visit unique and beautiful cities like Stanley in the Falkland Islands, Buenos Aires in Argentina, Rio de Janeiro and Recife in Brazil and even Devil’s Island in French Guiana.

To finish off the journey, guests will make their way through the Caribbean—stopping in Bridgetown, Barbados; Castries, St. Lucia; and San Juan, Puerto Rico—before returning to Miami on March 29.

As for how much an excursion of this length will cost, Regent is offering 2-for-1 all-inclusive fares that start at $42,999 per person. Thankfully, the price includes complimentary roundtrip airfare and unlimited free Wi-Fi.

During the announcement of Regent’s 2016-17 Winter Collection, the cruise line also revealed that it would be offering complimentary Wi-Fi access to everyone onboard its ships moving forward.
