Seven Seas Explorer to Have Guerlain Amenities

Postby HostDave » Fri Mar 11, 2016 8:42 pm

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has announced an exclusive partnership with Guerlain that will see a collection of bath amenities sail on its newest ship, the Seven Seas Explorer, when it launches in July.

On the new ship all Penthouse Suites and above will have a collection of Guerlain shampoos, conditioners, shower gels, body lotions and vegetable white soaps imbued with the fragrances of the French perfumer.

In addition, guests staying in the Regent Suite, Master Suite, Grand Suite and Explorer Suite will receive a complimentary 100-ml bottle of Eau de Cologne Impériale. The fresh and citrusy fragrance was first created in 1853 to pay homage to Empress Eugénie, the wife of Napoleon III and last empress of France.

The complimentary collection of exclusive amenities from Guerlain will initially be available only on Seven Seas Explorer, but will soon roll out on the remainder of the Regent Seven Seas Cruises fleet -- Seven Seas Navigator, Seven Seas Mariner and Seven Seas Voyager.

The 750-guest Seven Seas Explorer will set sail with a signature 3,875-square foot Regent Suite, as well as two new specialty restaurants, Chartreuse and Pacific Rim.

In addition to the line’s free unlimited shore excursion program, Seven Seas Explorer is exclusively offering new Gourmet Explorer Tours. Part of the Regent Choice shore excursion program, these Gourmet Explorer Tours are designed to complement the ship’s Culinary Arts Kitchen, the brand’s first culinary instruction center.

The ship's maiden voyage is scheduled for July 20, 2016, and it will spend an inaugural season in Europe before heading to Miami for a series of Caribbean voyages.
