Two April voyages on the luxury ship Seven Seas Mariner will overnight in Havana, Regent Seven Seas Cruises announced Wednesday.

The identical seven-night cruises sail round-trip PortMiami, with departures on April 11 and April 18. Stops at the new southern Belize destination, Harvest Caye, and Costa Maya, along with two sea days, round out the itinerary.

Regent will provide a selection of tours from Havana as part of the line's free, unlimited shore excursions program. All will offer opportunities to explore the people, music, art, history and culture of the island. Scholars and other guest experts will give presentations about Cuba’s past, present and future.

'We’re excited to be the first luxury cruise line to offer voyages to Cuba, a destination our guests have dreamt of visiting,' Regent president and ceo Jason Montague said. He added the line's robust selection of excursions all meet the people-to-people regulations established the US Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Seven Seas Mariner's Cuba cruises are priced starting at $2,999 and include airfare, excursions, Wi-Fi and fine wines and spirits.

A week ago Regent became one of three Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings brands that won approval from Cuban authorities to visit the island.
