Azamara Club Cruises has announced more details on The World Journey, a 102 day world cruise itinerary onboard the Azamara Journey. The line first teased the new world cruise when it announced its 2018 cruise schedule in early November.
The cruise departs Sydney, Australia, on March 7, 2018, and ends in London, England, on June 17, 2018, visiting 69 ports in 29 countries over 102 days. There will also be 18 late night stays in port, 14 overnights and eight AzAmazing Evening events.
Highlights include a tour of Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok, as well as a visit to Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangoon. In Dubai, travelers will have the chance to stop at the Gold Souq -- the largest gold market in the Middle East -- and explore the Sulan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the third largest in the world, in Muscat. Guests will also have the chance to take in the architecture of Barcelona, check out the Moorish Castle of Sao Jorge in Lisbon and explore Amsterdam.
Additionally, guests on the world cruise will have the chance to visit two major international events. After visiting Rome and Florence, the ship will head to the Cannes Film Festival. In Monaco, the ship will be in port during the Monaco Grand Prix.
Roundtrip airfare will be included for all full-cruise guests – business class for suite guests and standard air for all other staterooms, as well as a one night pre-sailing hotel stay. The World Journey kickoff in Sydney will commence with a special celebration, hosted by President and CEO Larry Pimentel, to welcome aboard those embarking on the voyage. The 102-day trip package also includes Internet, $1,000 per person shipboard credits, a free bag of laundry every seven days and excess luggage reimbursement up to $500 per person. Full itinerary pricing starts at $27,932 per person for a Club Interior stateroom and ranges up to $73,492 per person for a Club World Owner’s suite.
