Viking Sun runs aground near Strasbourg

Viking Cruises’ Viking Sun, carrying 240 people including 44 crew on a Rhine River cruise, ran aground Tuesday morning after an engine problem, 100mtr upstream from the Pont de l’Europe.
The vessel was attended by emergency services and all passengers were disembarked safely, according to local media reports.
Last October Viking Sun hit a pontoon along the Rhine some 30km away from Strasbourg.
