Keeping fit on board the EUROPA 2
The gym on board the new ship features an extensive choice of innovative training equipment: In addition to traditional fitness and cardio machines, Kinesis panels from Technogym help guests to make progress quickly. With the help of electrical impulses, miha bodytec builds up muscles fast and efficiently reduces fat. The revolutionary body point ultrasound method also gently tones for a trimmer physique. Passengers can also target specific areas with HYPOXI, a combination of positive and negative pressure plus special training. In addition, there are numerous courses on offer from relaxation exercises to spinning. Personal trainers are available on request to put together personalised fitness programmes and supervise guests’ individual training sessions. The sport hosts from EUROPA 2 also arrange active shore excursions such as bike rides and Nordic walking courses.

Relaxing at sea
The spacious spa is perfect for guests in search of relaxation. As well as housing four saunas, a hammam, an ice wall, a Kneipp pool and a whirlpool, the spa has medically-trained masseurs, physiotherapists and beauticians on hand to provide all kinds of treatments and therapies. These range from traditional part-/full-body massages and popular therapies such as Ayurveda, hot stone massages, thalasso and shiatsu, to exotic treatments such as lomi lomi, a traditional Hawaiian oil massage. In addition to this, there is a whole host of beauty treatments on offer – for both males and females.

Guests who would like to use the spa facilities in private can book the Personal SPA either by the day or by the hour. This boasts a private Jacuzzi and a separate Finnish sauna. On request, guests can also treat themselves to massage therapies lasting several hours, while also enjoying culinary treats and refreshments.
