Tee-off at sea and ashore: Golf & Cruise on the Hapag Lloyd’s Europa 2

Postby HostDave » Wed May 04, 2016 1:51 pm

For those who like the idea of playing on a variety of golf courses and enjoy travelling the oceans of the world, booking a Golf & Cruise voyage on board Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ 5-stars plus* EUROPA 2, is an ideal choice.

In the coming season, travellers on board EUROPA 2 will have the opportunity to play for the first time on golf courses in northern Europe. As well as these premiere courses, classic courses in England, Asia and New Zealand are once again featured on the programme.

With Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, playing golf is a unique experience thanks to the professional training on offer. Guests enjoy an all-round package: transfers, tee-off times, trolleys and electric cars are booked, with support from reputable PGA golf professionals also guaranteed.

Every year, many different golf cruises are accessible to guests when sailing on board the luxury ship EUROPA 2, visiting some of the best courses in the world. In the coming season, players can swing their golf clubs in locations such as Colombia, Mexico, USA, Canada, France, Spain, or the United Kingdom.

Wherever possible, green will be combined with blue as golfers play on links courses that are right by the sea. And the on-board simulators mean that participants can also enjoy training and playing golf even on days at sea.

Golf & Cruise for kids and teens
The EUROPA 2 also offers “Golf a la carte”: on request, the travel concierge can organise a customised and convenient tour, which includes arranging tee-times on the courses and transfers. The EUROPA 2 also offers taster golf training courses with hire clubs for future young golfing talents aged six years upwards. The Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ family cruise mascot, Cap’n Knopf, will be in on the fun as well. After the trial session, private lessons can also be booked with the golf pro.
