The Little Christmas Store
Laugavegur 8 (the address comes up on Google maps)

It is on the main shopping street in the block after the street that leads to the church (no way I'm going to try to spell the name of that street). Laugavegur starts as Bankastraeti off of Laekjargata (the main street coming up through the middle of town). If you are walking up Laugavegur from where you are staying it will be on the right. I think it is the only Christmas store on this side of town. There's a big Christmas store off the square by your hotel, but it doesn't have much locally made stuff and the guy working there wasn't at all helpful. This one is small, but the owner was very sweet, as was the staff.

Thanks! (The street names really are boggling for me to process.)

Hope you have safe and uneventful travels tomorrow.

This is the only city we've been to where the streets actually have signs with names on them. Our GPS keeps telling us to turn on "such and such", but there are no names on anything, so we just turn when it says to.

Hard to believe it is over and we're going back to the US already. Seems like we just got here. By next week we'll have forgotten all about it. Good thing I have the blog to remind me ;)

I finally got around to finishing the Iceland Travel Tips section. It is at the very end of the blog.

FYI, I'm not seeing the sections on Iceland Dining and Driving.

THANKS a million again for all your insights!!! I booked the Greyline to the glacial lagoon and the private to just Gullfoss (not the entire circle).

Am really enjoying the (mostly) Colorado gorgeous vistas. I miss the West!

I'm glad I can help and I really hope you enjoy it once you're there. I'm sure you'll love the glacial lagoon.

You might have to reload the page in order to update it since I just uploaded the finished tips section last night. I'm having some problems updating the site from this hotel, but I checked it and everything is there.

I haven't forgotten to post all of the pictures, I promise! I'm about 2/3 of the way through processing them, so look for them to be up by next week.

All pictures are now available in the Photo Gallery. I'll get to work on the Colorado photos shortly.
