Postby HostDave » Mon Aug 11, 2014 8:21 pm

AmaWaterways' 'Balcony Celebration' sale offers travelers up to $1,500 off balcony staterooms for 2015 travel. As an added bonus, the line is shaving up to $750 off single occupancy staterooms or a waiving the single supplement on select cruises. The deals are available on bookings made by Oct. 31.

'Our ships feature a majority of twin balcony and French balcony accommodations, which are an extremely popular option with river cruisers,' said AmaWaterways evp and co-owner Kristin Karst.

The 'Balcony Celebration' sale is available on 12 different itineraries, including sailings along all the European rivers served by AmaWaterways. Offers are valid on stateroom categories C through AA.

Sample itineraries include 'The Enchanting Rhine,' a seven-night cruise from Amsterdam to Basel starting at $3,048 per person, double occupancy (embarking March 26 and April 29; price is $500 off). 'Provence & Spain,' a seven-night cruise from Lyon to Arles, is priced from $3,798 per person (embarking July 16 and Aug. 13; price is $1,000 off).

And 'Tulip Time Cruise,' a seven-night round-trip from Amsterdam, starts at $2,548 per person (embarking March 24 and April 1, 7, 27 and 28; price is $1,500 off).

The promotion also encompasses new theme cruises for 2015, including 'Art Illumination Cruise,' a seven-night round-trip sailing from Paris starting at $3,648 per person (embarking Aug. 13; price is $1,500 off). A 'Jewish Heritage Cruise: The Romantic Danube,' seven nights from Vilshofen to Budapest, starts at $3,848 per person (embarking Aug. 12; price is $500 off).

And 'Wine Cruise: Paris & Normandy' is a seven-night round-trip sailing from Paris starting at $3,448 per person (embarking April 23; price is $1,500 off).

In addition to these special cruise-only fares, land extensions are available on select voyages and can be purchased at an additional cost.
