AmaWaterways' 2016 Has Innovative New Ships

AmaWaterways opened sales for 2016 when the line will add two ships with innovative features and offer 34 wine-themed sailings, an inaugural 'Taste of Bordeaux' itinerary and five voyages for art enthusiasts.

A new brochure is available online and scheduled to arrive in mailboxes later this month.

The 158-passenger sisters AmaViola and AmaStella will feature new connecting staterooms and larger suites. These vessels will have twin balcony staterooms, heated swimming pools, hair salons and fitness rooms.

AmaWaterways is doubling the number of special wine sailings for 2016. The new brochure details 34 wine sailings and introduces the 'Taste of Bordeaux' cruise. The seven-night voyage travels through France’s renowned Bordeaux region, with stops along the Garonne and Dordogne rivers.

Five art cruises will give travelers the opportunity to explore the artistic heritage of northern France while creating their own masterpieces. Included are tours and painting workshops led by an expert art instructor, featuring the landscapes that inspired Renoir, Monet and Gauguin.

AmaWaterways’ 2016 brochure also covers exotic itineraries in Southeast Asia and Africa.
